The Marion Polk County Medical Society recently added two new board members.  Dr. E. David Shaw and Dr. Zoltan Teglassy.

Now retired, Dr. Shaw is an Orthopedic surgeon practicing for over 60 years. In 2011, Dr. Shaw received an honor from the Oregon Legislature, Commending and honoring him for his inspiring volunteer humanitarian service and for his ongoing contributions to orthopedic care of patients in Salem, Oregon, and around world. He also received the Medical Societiy's President's Award in 2024.

Dr. Teglassy is a family physician with West Salem Clinic. Dr. Teglassy went through medical school at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary and did his residency and internship at St Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, NY.
