The Marion-Polk County Medical Society has a long history of partnering with the community. We have the honor of being the very first medical society in the state of Oregon, and our original journal, now known as ChartNotes, was the first medical journal in the state. Part of this illustrious history is at least four decades of experience helping local businesses reach our unique, targeted audience of local medical professionals. ChartNotes

Our magazine is an award-winning quarterly print publication focused on investigative reporting of local medical issues, in-depth interviews, medical history and member profiles. We do our best to deliver what is important to our members, both professionally and personally. With distribution to over 500 local medical professionals, hospital and clinic administrators, community leaders and elected officials we offer the most effective and affordable way to get your message in front of the right people. ChartNotes has quarterly distribution in printed and digital formats.

Rates and Sizes of Ads:

Sizes are full page, half page, 2/3 page, 1/3 page and 1/4 page. Rates depend on size, location (premium or "run of press") and frequency. There are discounts for multiple issues. Insertion of loose flyers are also available. Ad copy is due approximately one month prior to publication date.

Full page: $875 -  $1,350
Half page: $656 - $900
2/3 page: $665 - $950
1/3 page: $385 - $550
1/4 page: $315- $450

In 2026 the directory will be digital. As a digital format, the Membership Directory & Resource Guide will be a convenient resource for administrators and providers alike, offering your business the chance to stay in front of our members all year long.

Event Sponsorships

Face to face interactions with members are a great way to find new clients. Even today, face to face interactions remain a critical aspect of building strong relationships and successful business partnerships. Through sponsorship of our member events, we offer several opportunities throughout the year for you to connect with our members in person. Our events are typically dinners with a full social hour prior to the dinner and program. Attendance is typically around 80-90 people; primarily medical providers and their guests.

Event Sponsorships:

All event sponsors receive a display table, signage, logo on website and event and two registrations for attendees. These are great opportunities to get facetime with medical providers. Costs $500 - $650. 

Table Sponsorships:

Sponsor a table of 8 guests at one of our events. Cost $1,000.
