Family Volunteer at the Park Day

At the corner of Lefelle and Summer St, SE

Hosted by The Marion-Polk County Medical Society and the City Parks Department

Join us with your families for a day of volunteering at Bush Park! We will be working in the rhododendron gardens located off of Leffelle and Summer Street SE. Tools, gloves, and instruction will be led by the City Parks Department. Tasks include weeding, spreading mulch and clearing the crushed rock trail, so be sure to wear appropriate outdoor work clothes and closed-toe shoes.

Bring the whole family! There will be special activities for kids, as well as food and beverages for everyone to enjoy after volunteering time concludes. We are looking to recruit between 15-20 people. 

This lovely shady hillside area of the park needs a little TLC. We are just the people to do it!
